A review of Forrest Frank’s “The Jesus Generation” concert on July 25th, 2026, St. Louis, Missouri

On July 25th, my mom, brother and I attended Forrest Frank’s “The Jesus Generation” concert at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri. The experience was like no other concert I have been to, with a spirit-filled atmosphere and a stadium full of fans who have a strong love for Jesus.

Forrest Frank, arguably one of the most popular Christian artists with 7.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify, played eighteen songs and medleys during his “The Jesus Generation” concert. The setlist included songs from many of Frank’s albums, including both upbeat singles, such as “Your Way’s Better” and “AMEN,” and heartfelt hits, such as “Somebody Prayed.”. Featured artists included opener, Tori Kelly, and special guests Cory Asbury and the band, “The Figs.” The concert lasted around two-hours-and-thirty-minutes, and the tour ran through a total of twenty nine cities for about two months (from June-August 2026). Aside from the music itself, the concert also included performer-crowd interaction, prayer, and self-reflection.

The stage was a circle in the middle of the stadium, with a grassy hill and a giant glowing cross in the middle. A circle of screens hung at the top, displaying lyrics, advertisements, and messages throughout the evening. Before the concert started, fans were given an opportunity to sponsor a child in need of clean water access through the World Vision organization. Stadium workers handed out pamphlets to get families engaged in the mission. Before the music even started, the screens showed that more than 1,200 children from a pool of thirty six countries had been sponsored by the fans in St. Louis that night.

What made this experience special to me personally was the unity and fellowship that each attendee shared. Faith-related shirts and like-minded individuals were everywhere – from the merch tables to the concession stands to the seats! Instead of the typical concert vibes and excitement, I felt a calm and spiritual joy instead. And like many other fans, I was excited to worship God in a way I never had before – with live singers and the largest group of Christians I had ever seen.

At several moments throughout the concert, Frank shared his testimony of his walk with Christ throughout his life, including times where he felt very disconnected from God. Frank said that from junior high to college, he drifted from God, despite being raised in faith. He stated, “I went into college saying I’m not gonna go in as a Christian.” Later in college, Frank said that he felt “completely broken” until he heard a gentle voice in his head telling him to go to church. From then on, Frank rekindled his relationship with God and started attending church again, which he said made him feel “lighter.” Now, years later at his concert in St. Louis, fans watched Frank welcome to the stage his friend Caleb, who had helped him regrow his faith in Christ while they were in college.

Another standout moment was during the song “God is Good,” when a little girl was invited to the stage to sing the rap verse of the song. The girl sang her heart out, and when she exited the stage, she asked for prayers for her mom, who was being treated for breast cancer. Forrest Frank briefly paused the concert, and the crowd, led by Frank, prayed for her.

I started listening to Forrest Frank about a year-and-a-half ago, and what stood out to me with his music is the praise and scripture references in his songs. Many lyrics include directly quoted or paraphrased Bible verses, such as “Nothing Else,” which references John 10:10 in the lyric, “the enemy could try to kill, rob, and destroy / But one thing he can not take is my joy.” To me, singing or listening to Frank’s music is praising the Lord and connecting with Him. I have learned more about the Bible and God’s promises by listening to it, and it always raises my spirits. Getting to sing along to the songs live with the artist, with thousands of others who love it too, was a truly remarkable experience that I would recommend to anyone who enjoys music and connecting with Christ.
